DASA want to fund space technologies that will not otherwise be developed in the civil space industry - ones will address a set of specific problems in the space domain.
Innovation challenge details
- There are four key innovation challenge areas to focus on:
- Technologies for defending future UK space assets
- Novel sensing and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) enablers
- Characterisation of objects in space and their intent
- Overcoming the technical issues of ‘Space to Sea Level’ optical communications
