What's the innovation challenge?

SEStran, the South East of Scotland Transport Partnership, is looking for innovative companies to help them improve the-door-to-door journey for people who identify as having a disability.

It's thought around 25% of the Scottish population are living with a disability. And SEStran are focused on making the public transport experience for these customers better, easier and safer.

The challenge is to identify and understand in detail the barriers faced by commuters, and to develop an app-based door-to-door journey planning solution, that will help lift these barriers.

The registration deadline for this challenge is 9 January 2019.
