DASA Unmanned Air Systems in Urban Environments

DASA are seeking innovations to enable Unmanned Air Systems that will deliver tactical advantage and reduce threat.

What's the open innovation challenge?

The Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) and Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) are seeking innovations to enable Unmanned Air Systems which will deliver tactical advantage and reduce threats.

This competition is designed for the rapid exploitation of technology and will be run using a framework agreement. Note that this process is different than previous DASA calls.

To be considered for inclusion in the framework, tenderers must first complete the compulsory Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) and Cyber Risk Assessment questionnaire. Tenderers who pass both will be sent an invitation to tender (ITT) to get into the framework.

This call is for the pre-qualification stage only. DASA is not accepting proposals during this stage.

A total of £900,000 has been allocated to Phase 1. It is anticipated that contracts for Phase 1 will be up to £150,000 (ex. VAT). Specific details for Phase 2 are yet to be confirmed.
