Instand-NGS4P: workflows for personalised therapy

Could you address the challenge of developing two fully integrated and standardized NGS workflows, from sample-pre-analytics to medical decision making in the treatment of rare cancers?

Match-funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme, Instand-NGS4P is a 65-month pre-commercial procurement (PCP) project. It brings together seven leading European medical centres experienced in using different next generation sequencing (NGS) platforms in research and routine diagnostics.

The group of buyers is seeking solutions that address the challenge of developing two fully integrated and standardized NGS workflows, from sample-pre-analytics to medical decision making – the resulting NGS workflows will be used for routine diagnostics of common and rare cancers.

The project will follow a competitive PCP process in three phases:

  • solution design
  • prototyping and development
  • testing a limited number of products or services

After each phase, evaluations will be carried out to progressively select the best of the competing solutions.
